Good nutrition is also important for seniors who are young at heart and want to remain active for as long as possible. Fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy fats, whole grains, and fiber-rich foods such as beans are the basics of a healthy diet, along with proteins found in chicken, peanut butter, and other foods.
