2020 is going to be a great year. Care Indeed is officially turning a decade, we have exciting new projects in the works, and our team continues to grow in both strength and numbers. We are excited for the year ahead and are ready with open hearts for the possibilities about to unfold.
As Dee and I look back on 2019, I can honestly say it will be indelibly inked on my heart as "the year of learning" for us. We accomplished so much both professionally and personally. And, also faced some challenges and growing pains just as all businesses do. Our Care Indeed family worked through the difficult times, celebrated the milestones, and ended the year with a newfound clarity - that as a unit, nothing is impossible to handle. It was a year I will never forget.
For many (including myself), it was a year of discovering our newfound strength as one of Care Indeed's leaders. 2019 has allowed me to gain perspective and appreciate each of my team member's dedication to the company- from the person who cleans our offices to those who hold the highest managerial positions. Each position is equally valuable, meaningful, and impacts us all. I learned to honor both the individuals who have supported us and even those who thought otherwise. We celebrated each win no matter how big or small, and welcomed every challenge with open minds and hearts. I have discovered that it is possible to feel love, gratitude, and compassion even amid adversities.
2019 is the year that has prepared us in welcoming Care Indeed's first decade of existence.
2020 - we are ready for you! We have prepared our leaders to walk with integrity and value for humanity - and plan to continue this journey holding hands with the many incredible people who share our vision and desire to fulfill our mission. As a unit, we are laser-focused on aligning each endeavor with client-centered care.
As we take our first steps into our 10th year, Dee and I find ourselves reminiscing about the fire we had when we were first starting, and can see that same sparkle and excitement in the eyes of our current team. We want to make a noise in the community to remind people genuine compassion is pivotal to creating a world where the quality of life for our seniors is at the center of what we do and why we do it.
In this spirit, I would also like to take this opportunity to create a better world for you by opening my heart to your honest feedback so that we can continue to improve and grow. As surgeon Bernie Siegel stated best, "Embrace each challenge in your life as an opportunity for self-transformation."
