March is designated as Women’s History Month every year–a time to champion women’s voices and their long-standing role in positive change in history. This year’s theme celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion” which calls for the need to eliminate bias and discrimination in our lives for progress in society. In our history, it has been recognized that there is an unequal playing field for women worldwide in striving for justice.
